Clyde
American Brittany
Wingshooter Kennels “Started Gun Dogs” are outstanding young bird dogs that have spent enormous time in training and orientation to hone their hunting skills and develop a confident maturity. They vigorously seek, find, and point game. They are trustworthy of their handler and can go quickly into the field to hunt this season. They easily adapt and bond to a new family.
Clyde is a white and orange full size Brittany with a ton of personality. He has a passionate hunting style with a dynamic ground game and great desire to please. He has been in our started gun dog program from 8 weeks of age and continues to learn and mature weekly. He has a fast pace with a forward running pattern with consistent check-in and biddability. He loves heavy cover and works vigorously with determination in his search for a game. He’s a good bird finder, with a great nose and is staunch on point. He is being worked on his own as well as with other dogs, breeds, and handlers. 13-year-old Anna ran him for two of his AKC Junior Hunter Test passes this spring. He’s had birds shoot for him over his points and has a soft mouthed natural retrieve. He has great temperament and an inquisitive nature who loves other dogs and people. He’s quiet and clean in the kennel. He is an outstanding young bird dog and ready for his forever hunting home.
Clyde comes from a long line of proven field performers including GFC2 FC AFC Sniksoh Spank’s Hank, Nolan’s Last Bullet, NFC DC AFC Tequila’s Joker, NFC FC Beans Blaze and many other FC, AFC and CH in his pedigree.
