Rose and Rudy Puppies

Puppies’ Dam: Rose exhibits all the traits of an exceptional bird dog. She has desire, boldness, independence, bird-finding ability, pointing style, and trainability. Rose is calm both in the kennel and at home, making her a joy to be around. She has been trained and hunted with various dogs and handlers, earning her AKC Junior Hunter title at 9 months of age under the guidance of Amy West. She is OFA Good. (See her pedigree below)

Rose’s sire, Rascal, is a Dual Champion from Rick Hasting’s DC Brittany’s kennels in Chanute, Kansas. He has proven his excellence in both field and show arenas, achieving his AFC title at just two years of age and winning his show championship in seven out of nine entries. With 17 field trial placements and a third-place finish in the National Shooting Dog Championship at two years old, Rascal’s performance and conformation are remarkable. His pedigree boasts a lineage of distinguished performers and show winners, including NAGDC GCH DC AFC Triumphant’s To Hot To Handle, NFC DC AFC Gambler’s Ace In The Hole, NGDC 2X DC AFC Winchester Of Hanging Jaze, NGDC DC AFC Magnum’s Masked Man, DC AFC Masked Shoshoni War Chief, and NFC DC AFC Ru-Jem’s A Touch of Bourbon.

Rose’s dam, Lil is my personal hunting dog and has hunted in eight different states on eight different species of upland birds. She earned her Junior Hunter (JH) title at eight months old and has been a valuable part of my hunting team since then. Lil is an easy-handling, big-running bird dog with incredible stamina, a keen nose, and a unique ability to locate and pin birds that other dogs miss. She is a pleasure to hunt with and comes from a lineage of proven performers and winners. Her father is Jeff Hoskins’ GFC FC AFC Sniksoh Spank’s Hank, whose littermate was NFC Roustabout’s Flat Out. Her pedigree includes NFC FC (HOF) Beans Blaze, NFC DC AFC Gambler’s Ace In The Hole, FC AFC (HOF) Blaze Dakota Trucker, FC AFC Chubasco II, and DC Chick’s Blaze’N Sawtooth Sam.

Puppies’ Sire: WK’s Big Chill “Rudy” is an exceptional young dog, known for his unique combination of a relaxed demeanor and a strong hunting drive. In the kennel, Rudy remains calm and composed, while in the field, he transforms into a dynamic bird-finding machine with a swift, wide-ranging cast. Rudy has experience hunting with various other dogs and has successfully pursued wild birds across North Dakota and Kansas.
