Rye is a sporty and dynamic bird finder with outstanding game drive and beautiful pointing style. She has a snappy ground game and hits the cover with drive and determination. She searches objectives thoroughly and is staunch on point. She has a great temperament, is quiet and reserved in the kennel and very mature for her age. She has completed two of her AKC Junior Hunter Passes being handled by 13-year-old Anna Shugart. She loves to please and is an eager pet in the house.  She is an outstanding young bird dog and provide a lucky hunting family with many years of field and family companionship.  

She comes from a long line of proven performers. She is the daughter of DC NWGDC NAWGDC GFC AFC Starlight’s Mercury Outrider and SKF Willy’s Miss Mollie. Outstanding notables in her pedigree include NFC DC AFC Micro Chips Nutmeg, NFC FC AFC Shambo’s Dark Shadow. As well as numerous DC, FC, CH and AFC dogs. See her pedigree in pictures. 

Our Started Gun Dogs are driven to seek and find game, point staunchly and have been exposed to various field scenarios and hunting situations. They are familiar with the gun, retrieve naturally, e-collar conditioned, whistle trained and socialized with other dogs and hunters. They are current on all vaccinations, heartworm and microchipped. They are eager and ready to hunt!
