Rye is turning into a dynamic bird finder with outstanding game drive and beautiful pointing style. He has been in our started gun dog program from 8 weeks of age and continues to learn and mature daily. He has a great temperament, is quiet and reserved in the kennel. He has an athletic graceful stride and hits the cover with drive and determination. He is going to be an outstanding young bird dog and provide a lucky hunting family with many years of field and family companionship.
He comes from a long line of proven performers and field champions. He is the son of NAFC GAFC FC AFC Anj’s Ohio Hellion “Hank” and Bauer’s Touchdown Iowa. Hank is a well renowned open field champion with an amateur national championship to his name. His mom is an outstanding hunting dog and family companion. There are 26 AFC or FC champions in his 4-generation pedigree with national champion notables including: NAGDC Hi’ Hopes Little Ann, NFC Gamblers Ace in the Hole, NAFC High Hopes Fly by Night and NFC Rimarda’s Gambler.

Our Started Gun Dogs are driven to seek and find game, point staunchly and have been exposed to various field scenarios and hunting situations. They are familiar with the gun, retrieve naturally, e-collar conditioned and socialized with other dogs and hunters. They are eager and ready to hunt!
