We maintain an outstanding group of young dogs in our Started Gun Dog Program. If you’re thinking about a started dog for next fall, now is the time to call. We have male and female dogs in liver and white, white, and orange, orange and white, liver roan.

Wingshooter Kennels “Started Gun Dogs” have spent enormous time in obedience and field training to hone their hunting skills and develop a confident maturity. They have a burning desire to seek, find and point birds. Their obedience, purposeful hunting game drive and forward cast is well balanced by the time they’re ready to go to their happy hunting home. They’re ecollar conditioned, whistle trained, staunch on point, eager to search for downed game at the sound of the gun and have a natural retrieve. They’ve been worked with many other dogs and breeds as well as multiple handlers. They are trustworthy of their handler and ready to go into the field. They readily adapt and bond with a new family.
